Second Story staff have recently undergone Naloxone (Narcan) training and there is now a Naloxone kit at the Centre!

Did you know that Naloxone kits are free and can be picked up at most pharmacies in Nova Scotia? The training is a simple 20 minute video at naloxonetraining.com. Just watch the video, do the short quiz and bring the electronic 'certificate' that you are given upon completion to show to the pharmacy and receive your free Naloxone kit.

Naloxone reverses an overdose from Opioids and saves lives. It is easy to use and anyone can learn how.

Consider taking this quick and easy training and picking up a kit from a participating pharmacy. It could save someone's life.
