Join our Board!

We are currently recruiting new members for our volunteer Board of Directors. The minimum time commitment is only five hours a month – which includes participating, in person or via Zoom, in an evening meeting held the last Thursday of each month and committee work. Training and support is also provided to all new recruits.

The work our board members do is both critical to the community and personally rewarding. The Centre is hoping to fill open seats with members who can bring a range of cultural and life experiences to the table, to ensure that the voices of the women and other gender-oppressed persons we serve are better represented. We especially welcome applications from Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, newcomers to Canada, women and gender diverse people with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
