Today is Red Dress Day - or the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. It is a shameful fact that in Canada, Indigenous women and girls are 12 times more likely to be murdered or missing than other women in Canada. On today and all days we remember and mourn our Stolen Sisters.
We must also remember that the National Inquiry into MMIWG's final report detailed 231 Calls for Justice - including 8 Calls for Justice to all People in Canada.
Today we ask that you click here to read them and consider how you can implement these Calls for Justice in your life.
